Accessibility

Veya aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That target is not incidental to this audience: many people using this site are managing brain fog, disrupted sleep, migraine or changes in vision, and a site that is merely pretty is not much use to them.

What is in place

• Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
• Motion is decorative only, never load-bearing for meaning, and is disabled entirely when your system asks for reduced motion.
• Smooth scrolling is switched off under that same preference, because it is a common migraine and vestibular trigger.
• Text is set at a comfortable reading size and reflows to 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
• Colour is never the only way information is conveyed.
• Forms have real labels, and errors are announced rather than only shown in red.

Known gaps

This is an honest list rather than a claim of perfection. The site has not yet been through an independent audit or tested end to end with screen reader users. Until it has, do not read the target above as a certification.
